In Valley and In Love with the Saviour

“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lam. 3:22-23

One day someone close to me told that she is going for a pilgrimage, as she does not find peace for quite some months. The other day I heard one of my friends saying that he is going for a stress buster session, as he face sleepless nights. Both were pretty happy in their lives, and in all streams of their lives…

Lost in this world! “Come; Have from my plate and from my glass.” - Jesus calls you… And the Son of Man, calls you to a feast where he serves his Body and Blood for he loves you more than his flesh. How many of us realize His love in this feast. How many of us find time to go for Holy Mass at least twice in a week?

You go after the world, for all the goodness that world offers, You try to find trust in others, kindness, and many more from humans…And you forget that the love of God ne’er ceases and his mercies are endless…

So what are we waiting for? You are in the Valley…but the purpose of being in Valley is complete only when you are in Love…In God’s Love...

This reminds me of a story:

A farmer and a shepherd were walking through a village. Farmer carried a sack full of grains. And the Shepherd was with a herd of sheep. In course of their journey, they had to cross a river of considerable depth. Both were fine to cross it by themselves but with the sack full of grains and herd of sheep it was difficult to manage.

The farmer adopted an easy way, where he sold some quantity of grains to someone and reduced the weight of the sack. The shepherd helped each of the sheep, from the strong to feeble and managed to cross the river without losing any one. Our Savior is like this good shepherd.

His unfailing love and faithfulness guarantees that even if you are lost, lost in this world, he will search for ways to bring you closer to Him. Unlike the farmer, who sold grains and adopted an easy strategy to cross the river, Our Savior climbed the Calvery, and suffered until death… And in fact he bought our souls through crucifixion, through his Holy Blood…

For his mercies are endless, and He is faithful.

So what are we supposed to give in return? How will we pay him back?

As Romans 8: 37 – 39 says: “…For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

And Matthew 22:37-38says as follows: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” – This is the first and great commandment”

In Love, In Jesus Christ, Let us recite this small prayer, “Love you Jesus, for you are my savior, Love you Jesus for you are my companion, Love you more than anything, for you stay in my heart.”
